rob mclennan has been kind enough to publish my essay on Groundling over at Periodicities. This essay began as and builds on a brief note I read before launching above/grounds reissue of the chapbook in Ottawa. I’m still thinking about this difference between forgiveness and compassion, where compassion is the goal. This essay stands as a good indication on where I’ve landed, for now. I hope it rings true for someone.
